CROWDED HOUSE

CROWDED HOUSE are Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Liam Finn, Elroy Finn, Mitchell Froom.

Crowded House is a band built on the sturdy foundations of the song writing talents of Neil Finn. The band formed in Australia in 1985 after New Zealand’s Split Enz disbanded.

Their first album, 'Crowded House' gave birth to hit singles Don’t Dream It’s Over and Something So Strong. The band’s first incarnation found worldwide popularity, particularly for their incredible live shows.
This iteration of the band gave their last live performance in 1996 on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, in front of 150,000 people.

The band reformed n 2005 following the death of Paul Hester - Neil and Nick felt the need to "put some more good history into the story of the band."
Utilising drummer Matt Sherrod and long time touring member Mark Hart they released 'Time On Earth' - another hugely popular and successful recording - and then toured the world. Follow up 'Intriguer' was released in 2009.
In 2016, Crowded House was inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame, and around the same time repeated its grand finale show at the Sydney Opera House with 4 nights of stunning live performances.
